SIR JOHN TUKE (Edinburgh and St. Andrews' Universities)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has received an opinion from the Law Officers of the Crown concerning evasions of the Medical Acts and of the Dentist's Act under the provisions of the Companies Acts; and, if so, whether he will communicate it to the House.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Akers-Douglas.) The Board of Trade have received an opinion from the Law Officers, but I am unable to accede to my hon. friend's request, as such opinions are treated as confidential.
