SIR THOMAS DEWAR (Tower Hamlets, St. George's)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether, with a view to physical development in the Army and the temporary reappointment of the inspector of gymnasia, has he yet made any definite appointment to this position; and, if so, will the curriculum be arranged in accordance with the most modern methods of instruction.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Arnold-Forster.) The reply to the first part of the Question is in the negative. As regards the second part of the Question the curriculum is, it is believed, arranged in accordance with the most modern methods of instruction.
