HC Deb 29 March 1905 vol 143 c1517
MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in view of the fact that it has been alleged that certain Catholic clerks in the veterinary branch of the Agricultural Department had made misstatements of facts in their reply to the secretary's minute condemning the Parliamentary action taken in their case, and seeing that both the text of the clerks', reply as well as particulars of their alleged misstatements have so far been withheld from the House, he will say what steps he proposes taking to enable the House to form an independent judgment on the whole matter.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) The facts of the case have been repeatedly stated in the House in reply to the hon. Member's Questions. I do not propose to take any steps in the matter.
