§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Lord-Advocate, in view of the fact that the sum of £15,000, placed at the disposal of the Fishery Board for Scotland in terms of Section 2 (3) of The Local Taxation Account (Scotland) Act, 1898, for marine superintendence, is stated to be wholly absorbed, will he state from what source he proposes to obtain funds for the purchase of an additional cruiser required for the protection of the interests of the line fishermen from the depredations of illegal trawlers.
*MR. SCOTT DICKSONThe Secretary for Scotland does not propose to purchase an additional cruiser, as the funds at the disposal of the Fishery Board will not at present admit both of purchase and maintenance of another vessel.
