HC Deb 28 March 1905 vol 143 cc1356-7
MR. KEARLEY (Devonport)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether it is proposed to take the Second Reading of the Naval Lands (Volunteers) Bill before the Easter recess; whether, seeing that it is a measure that will save expense to the Volunteer force, it is the intention of the Government to pass it through its various stages without undue delay.

(Answered by Mr. Pretyman.) It is hoped to take the Second Reading of this Bill before the Easter recess, but this must depend on the condition of business in the House. It is intended to pass the Bill through all its stages with as little delay as possible.
