WEIRI beg to ask the Lord-Advocate if he will state whether there have been any outbreaks of fever or other contagious diseases on the western mainland of Ross-shire during last year such as to necessitate the closing of public schools; if so, will he state the names of the schools closed and the periods for which they were respectively closed.
*MR. SCOTT DICKSONThe following schools on the western mainland of Rossshire were closed during the year 1904 by order of the sanitary authority, acting on the advice of the medical officer of health:—
