HC Deb 22 March 1905 vol 143 cc782-3
MR. O'KELLY

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord - Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will take into consideration the resolution recently passed by the Belmullet District Council asking that the repayment of the cost of seed potatoes issued this year may be collected in four instalments instead of two as formerly.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) The two instalments of the seed supply loan in this case will not be collected until after 1st April, 1906, and 1st April, 1907 respectively. Inasmuch as the rates to be struck in each year are collectable in two moieties, the repayment for the seed will practically be made in four instalments.
