DELANYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether a petition was forwarded from Clonaslee, Queen's County, to Mr. Pirrie, asking that the Iveagh-Pirrie motor scheme should be put into operation in the district; and whether he can say what is the reason of the delay in acceding to this.‡
§ MR. WALTER LONGI have no information as to the petition in question, which is one entirely for the promoters of the scheme to deal with. The suggested service is not one of those originally contemplated.
