HC Deb 21 March 1905 vol 143 c628
MR. CHARLES McARTHUR

To ask the Secretary to the Board of Trade if the Irish lights tender "Princess Alexandra" has fulfilled all the conditions of the specification; if this vessel is now in the builders' hands; and, if so, for what purpose, and for how long.

(Answered by Mr. Bonar Law.) I am informed by the Commissioners of Irish Lights that their new tender the "Alexandra," not "Princess Alexandra," has been in the builders' hands since December for some alterations to enable her to fulfil speed conditions, and that she will probably be ready by the end of the present month, or the middle of April at latest.
