WEIRI beg to ask the Lord-Advocate if he will state what progress has been made by the Congested Districts Board in their negotiations with the proprietor of the Island of Lewis for the sub-division of the farm of Aignish, Lewis, into crofter holdings, and the nature of any arrangements on the subject which may have been entered into.
*MR. SCOTT DICKSONThe proprietor has selected tenants for the thirty-two crofts into which this farm is to be subdivided. Tenders have been invited for the necessary roads and drainage and also for the houses to be erected on the crofts.
