Nolan was consulted as a handwriting expert in the course of the charges brought against Sergeant Sullivan, of Mulranny, county Mayo; and, if so, whether he expressed any opinion, as to the authorship of the letters inciting to outrage, and alleged to be written by Sergeant Sullivan.
