MACNAMARA (Camberwell, N.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can say on how many occasions within the past six months it has been necessary to call out the military in the Transvaal as a matter of emergency in support of the civil power; what the nature of the emergency in each case was; and, if not, whether he will ask for a detailed report from Lord Milner.
