MCHUGH (Leitrim, N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether it is proposed to stop the grant for organising practical science teaching in Irish national schools; and, if so, will he state the grounds on which such decision has been arrived at, in view of the fact that the Commission on Manual and Practical Instruction recommended the teaching of elementary experimental science in Irish primary schools.
