§ DR. AMBROSE (Mayo, W.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what is the cause of the delay in proceeding with the marine works in county Mayo; and whether there is any prospect of their being commenced in the near future.
(Answered by Mr. Atkinson.) Negotiations are still in progress with respect to these works. I am not, therefore, in a position to reply to the second inquiry.
