To ask the Secretary of State for War whether it has been decided to retain the lance as part of the equipment of regiments of Lancers, Dragoon Guards, and Dragoons.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Arnold-Forster.) The instructions laid down in Army Order 39 of March, 1903, with regard to the use of the lance, are still in force.
