I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether, during his recent tour in Ireland, he made any special inquiries as to the condition of agricultural labourers and the working classes in towns in Ireland; and, if so, whether he proposes to make any legisla-lative proposals dealing with their position.
