§ MR. LAMBERTI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury if he will state when he proposes to proceed with his Redistribution Resolutions; and if he can state what are the terms of the Resolutions he intends to submit to the House.

BALFOURNo, I cannot name the day when the House will be asked to deal with the Resolutions which are to be proposed by the Government on the subject of redistribution, and I think the hon Gentleman will agree this is not the occasion on which the House should be made acquainted with their contents.
