HC Deb 26 June 1905 vol 148 c82
COLONEL NOLAN (Galway, N.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if at present and in peace time it is usual for the War Office to publish, or to permit those interested to see, the tenders for articles required by the War Office; if both the successful and the unsuccessful tenders are so published; and if there are any exceptions to the rule.

MR. ARNOLD-FORSTER

It is not usual for the War Office to show either-successful or unsuccessful tenders to anyone. The name alone of the successful tenders is given to any unsuccessful tenders in that competition who specifically asks for it. There are no exceptions to these rules.
