HC Deb 26 June 1905 vol 148 c90
SIR EDWARD STRACHEY (Somersetshire, S.)

I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Government has received any notice of, or invitation to, an International Dairy Conference to be held in Paris next October; and, if so, will they be prepared to nominate a delegate to such conference if asked to do so.

THE UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Earl PERCY, Kensington, S.)

His Majesty's Government have been informed of the establishment of an International Federation for the protection of the interests of the dairy industry, but have not received any invitation to send delegates to a conference on the subject at Paris. If such an invitation were received, the Government would be willing to consider the matter.
