Cook, late a private in the Bedfordshire Militia, and now in private employment in Essex, was arrested by a policeman at Abridge on Monday, May 29th, and conveyed as a prisoner to Epping and detained there in custody until May 31st, when he was discharged without any further explanation being given; and, if so, whether he proposes to take any, and, if any, what, action in the matter.
