Ordered, That a Select Committee be appointed to inquire to what extent the statutory requirements applying to British ships trading to and from Ports in the United Kingdom should be made applicable to foreign vessels trading to and from such Ports.

Committee accordingly nominated of Mr. Crean, Mr. Charles Devlin, Sir Theodore Doxford, Mr. Munro Ferguson, Mr. Leverton Harris, Mr. John Johnson, Mr. Bonar Law, Mr. Charles McArthur, Mr. McKenna, Mr. David Morgan, Sir Albert Rollit, Mr. Runciman, Sir Hugh Shaw-Stewart, Mr. Wolff, and Sir James Woodhouse.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers, and records.
