HC Deb 27 July 1905 vol 150 cc591-2
MR. MOON (St. Pancras, N.)

To ask the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether, in the case of military badges, etc., made of other materials than metal, the War Office is willing to abandon any conditions stipulating that a given article should be made by hand or by machine, or partly by one method and partly by the other, so that conformity to the sealed pattern may be the sole criterion.

(Answered by Mr. Bromley Davenport.) The matter has been carefully considered and the reply is in the negative.
