HC Deb 24 July 1905 vol 150 c23
CAPTAIN BAGOT (Westmoreland; Kendal)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether he has received from the Westmoreland Farmers' Club, Kendal, through their chairman, a communication respecting a postman who recently when on duty saved the life of a man who was attacked by a bull; and, if so, will he say what action he proposes to take.

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) I have received a communication on the subject from the chairman of the Kendal Chamber of Agriculture. The postman had already been commended for his plucky conduct on the occasion in question, and the case had been recorded in his favour.
