MR. BOLAND (Kerry, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Congested Districts Board has received a memorial from the residents of Sneem district with reference to the withdrawal of the steamer service; and, if so, can he state what action the Board will take in the matter.

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. WALTER LONG, Bristol, S.)

The memorial has been considered by the Board, who have decided that they can take no further steps in the matter.
