HC Deb 13 July 1905 vol 149 cc531-2
ME. REMNANT (Finsbury, Holborn)

asked leave to withdraw the Resolution he had on the Paper to commit this Bill to a Select Committee of nine, the present order of committal to be discharged. He said he took this course in view of the fact that the Committee had already commenced its inquiry.

MR. LOUGH (Islington, S.)

said he had a similar Motion on the Blue Paper, and wished to move it.

MR. SPEAKER

It is not down by Order, and could not, therefore, be moved to-day.

MR. T. W. RUSSELL (Tyrone, S.)

As the hon. Member had not withdrawn his Motion, it ought to have been put down. Whose fault was it it was not?

MR. SPEAKER

said he would inquire.

MR. LOUGH

I propose to move it.

MR. SPEAKER

On Monday.
