§ MR J. F. HOPE (Sheffield, Brightside)To ask the Secretary to the 247 Admiralty whether he can say when further orders for armour plate for the needs of the Admiralty are likely to be issued.
(Answered by Mr. Pretyman.) A contract for a small quantity of armour is being placed during the present week. Contracts for further quantities will, it is expected, be placed by the end of the month.
