SOARES (Devonshire, Barnstaple)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether it is intended to hold a Colonial Conference in the year 1906; and, if so, whether the British representatives at such conference will be free to discuss the advisability of a system of preferential trading based on the taxation of food and raw material imported into this country.
