HC Deb 10 July 1905 vol 149 c98
MR. CULLINAN (Tipperary, S.)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether, as the Sale of Butter Bill is one of great concern to butter producers, he will afford facilities for its passage into law this session.

SIR EDWARD STRACHEY (Somersetshire, S.)

At the same time may I ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he can now say when he proposes to take the Second Reading of the Sale of Butter Bill.

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

I am desirous of passing the Sale of Butter Bill into law, but whether it is possible to do so in the course of the present session must depend on the way in which the House chooses to occupy its time.
