§ MR. MORRELL (Oxfordshire, Woodstock)To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty what contributions are made to the cost of the Navy by India, the Australian Commonwealth, New Zealand, the Cape, and Natal, beyond the sums set out as appropriations in aid in the Estimates; and what is the sum contributed in aid from all sources.
(Answered by Mr. Pretyman.) No contributions to the cost of the Navy, other than the sums shown in the Estimates as appropriations in aid, are made by the Colonies and Dependencies named. The 1118 total of those contributions is £428,400, made up as follows:—
