HC Deb 04 July 1905 vol 148 c973
MR. TULLY

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners are the legal owners of the ancient monument recently destroyed by malicious injury on the King-Harman Estate; and, if so, have they taken any steps to replace the same, and thus save the ratepayers from any liability in the matter.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) The Commissioners understand that the monument referred to is situate on land which is vested in them. They have instructed their inspector to inquire into and report on the matter.
