MR. NANNETTI (Dublin, College Green)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the employment of a searcher in the Public Record Office, Dublin, to do bookbinders' work at a wage of 27s. per. week, while the standard rate of pay for competent bookbinders in the city is 32s., he will take such steps as will secure compliance with the Fair Wages Resolution of this House in the Public Record Office, Dublin.

I do not consider that the terms of the Fair Wages Resolution are applicable to the circumstances of the case referred to by the hon. Member.
