HC Deb 03 July 1905 vol 148 c766
MR. LAMBERT (Devonshire, South Molton)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether ammunition has been supplied by Messrs. Kynochs which has proved to be of a defective character; whether it has been bought back by them at a reduced rate; if so, what was the price paid and received by the Government.

Some supplies of ammunition made by Kynoch deteriorated in the service and were found to be defective. No such ammunition was, however, bought back by the firm.
