I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he will, in considering the abolition of the per capita grant for the Volunteers, at the same time consider the advisability of extending the proposed arrangement to the Imperial Yeomanry.

There is no intention of altering the present system under which the Yeomanry and Volunteers are mainly financed by means of grants-in-aid in the form of capitation allowances.
