Resolutions reported from the Select Committee:—

  1. 1. "That, in the case of the Heckmondwike Improvement, Petition for Bill, the Standing Orders ought to be dis 1446 pensed with. That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill, provided that Clauses 10 and 11, and so much of the Preamble as relates thereto, be struck out of the Bill. That the Committee on the Bill do report how far such Order has been complied with."
  2. 2. "That, in the case of the Wigan Corporation, Petition for Bill, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with. That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill, provided that the powers to construct Tramway No. 2 be struck out of the Bill, unless the consent of the Aspull Urban District Council be proved before the Committee on the Bill. That the Committee on the Bill do report how far such Order has been complied with."
  3. 3. "That, in the case of the Coventry Electric Tramways, Petition for Bill, the parties have stated their intention not to proceed with their Bill."
