HC Deb 27 February 1905 vol 141 cc1335-6
MR. PATRICK O'BRIEN (Kilkenny)

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that frequent complaints have been made of delays, at times of five days, in delivering the Kilkenny Moderator newspaper at Piltown and district, which is distant only twenty-one miles from Kilkenny, where the paper is published and posted can he explain why these delays occur; and will he see that the Moderator is delivered in the ordinary course of post in future.

LORD STANLEY

The inquiries as regards the delay in the delivery of the Kilkenny Moderator at Piltown are not yet complete, but I hope to be in a position to communicate the result to the hon. Member shortly.
