I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the number of applications received by the Estates Commissioners from the evicted tenants on the estate of Mrs. Lewis, Ballinagar, county Galway, and how many have been reinstated either in their old homes or new ones under the Land Act of 1903.

Twenty-two, none of whom have been reinstated. Their, applications are at present with the inspectors and will be considered in the event of untenanted land in the district becoming available.
