§ (Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) I am afraid that, looking to the differences in detail between various series of by-laws, it would scarcely be practicable to indicate by means of a Return the bylaws in force in each area. I am receiving representations from various quarters with respect to building by-laws in rural districts, and the whole question is engaging my attention. I have not at present arrived at a decision with regard to the course to be adopted in the matter.
