§ DR. MACNAMARAI beg to ask the Secretary to the Board of Education whether he has considered the recommendation of the Physical Deterioration (1904) Committee to the effect that definite provision should be made by the local education authorities for dealing with the question of underfed children; and whether he is in a position to say whether proposals embodying that recommendation will be laid before Parliament in the present session of Parliament.
§ SIR WILLIAM ANSONIt is not intended to make any proposals for adding to the existing powers of local authorities in the matter referred to.
