MAJOR EVANS GORDON (Tower Hamlets, Stepney)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether any decision has been arrived at in regard to the alleged grievances of the Customs boatmen which were brought to his notice last year, and as to which he promised that an inquiry would be made.

I have made careful inquiries on this matter, but I am not yet in a position to make any statement.
