HC Deb 20 February 1905 vol 141 c584
MB. T. W. RUSSELL (Tyrone, S.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether it is proposed to increase the postal facilities Detween the North of Ireland and England via Greenore; and if he will consider in connection with any such proposal the advisability of authorising letters to be carried from the stations on the Clogher Valley line by the afternoon trains, thus allowing replies to correspondence to be sent on the same day as the receipt thereof

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) I am considering the question of improving the mail service between England and the North of Ireland, and the desire of the residents in the Clogher Valley district to participate in any improvement shall receive attention before a decision is arrived at.
