HC Deb 20 February 1905 vol 141 c583
ME. CROMBIE (Kincardineshire)

To ask the Lord Advocate whether, in view of the recommendation by the Fishery Board for Scotland in favour of closing all ports in the Kingdom to fish illegally trawled in the Moray Firth, legislation to effect this purpose will be introduced this session.

(Answered by Mr. Scott Dickson.) The Secretary for Scotland would be glad if the Law affecting the sale of fish caught by trawlers in the Moray Firth were identical in England with that prevailing I in Scotland, but on the question of legislation he will confer in the first instance with the President of the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries.
