HC Deb 15 February 1905 vol 141 c177
MR. EMMOTT (Oldham)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty"s Government have received a Copy of the judgment of the Appeal Court at Boma in the case of de Tiége; and, if so, whether they will communicate it to the House.

(Answered by Earl Percy.) It appears, on inquiry, that Monsieur de Tiége is not a British subject, and His Majesty"s Government have therefore no right to prosecute special inquiries into the case.
