HC Deb 10 August 1905 vol 151 c928
MR. HERBERT ROBERTS (Denbighshire, W.)

To ask the Secretary to the Board of Education whether his attention has been drawn to the return of the attendances of managers of non-provided schools in Denbighshire for the year ending July 29th; whether he is aware that, according to this return, Section 6 of Part B of the First Schedule of the Education Act of 1902, with reference to the holding of meetings of managers, has not been complied with in the case of thirty out of the seventy-two non-provided schools in the county; and whether the Board of Education will take the steps necessary to ensure that the requisite information in respect to the management of the schools referred to is furnished to the Denbighshire County Council by its next meeting.

(Answered by Sir William Anson.) The Board have only received this morning a letter from the Denbighshire local education authority, giving information on the subject referred to in the Question. The matter will receive the careful consideration of the Board. In the meantime, I am afraid that it is impossible for me to give the hon. Member a definite reply.
