HC Deb 09 August 1905 vol 151 c796
MR. DAVID MORGAN (Essex, Waithamstow)

To ask the Secretary of State for India if any steps are being taken at Jubbulpore, Central Provinces, to provide sufficient accommodation for Indian Army officers on the increase of garrison at that station.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.) The garrison of Jubbulpore is eventually to be increased. Under Indian Army regulations, officers can obtain advances for building purposes when suitable accommodation is not available, but the adequacy of accommodation will, in all cases, be considered before a garrison is increased.
