To ask the Lord-Advocate if he can give the total amount of the payments made for the year ending March 31st last under each of the different heads and subheads of the Minute of April 25th, 1904, which provides for the distribution of the General Aid Grant; also the amount at the same date standing at the credit of the Suspense Account.

The amount at the credit of the Suspense Account on 31st March, 1905, was £111,530 Is. There are 107 schools yet to be paid under the Minute. I estimate that the grant for these will amount to—
