HC Deb 19 April 1905 vol 145 c605
MR. MURPHY (Kerry, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he proposes to take any steps to relieve the ratepayers in the county of Kerry from the payment of certain railway and other guarantees in accordance with the promise of the right hon. Member for Dover.

MR. WALTER LONG

The Development Grant Estimate for the current year contains provision for payment of a first instalment of a grant, estimated at £23,500, towards the reconstruction and improvement of the line of railway from Tralee to Dingle. No further steps are in contemplation by the Government.
