To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will state the number of estates purchased by the Congested Districts Board in Kerry, the prices paid, and the additional sums spent in improving houses and land.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) The Board have arranged for the purchase of six estates for a total purchase-money of £54,993. No expenditure on improvements has yet been made.
