HC Deb 17 April 1905 vol 145 cc326-7
MR. GIBSON BOWLES (Lynn Regis)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury can he now undertake to give a day during the present session for the consideration by the House of the Reports of the Public Accounts Committee, and for taking the decision of the House upon the recommendations embodied therein.

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

I have on a previous occasion stated that if it is the general wish of the House I am prepared to give up one of the Thursdays allotted to Supply for the discussion of the Reports of the Public Accounts Committee, which although not technically Supply are very closely associated with the financial business of the House. If there should be any reluctance to give up one of the days allotted to Supply, I will endeavour to find some other opportunity, but it must be understood that I cannot in that case promise a whole day.
