To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the number of policemen at present stationed in Loughrea, Kilchreest, and Athenry; and how many extra policemen have been drafted into these districts within the coarse of the past month.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) The number of police at present stationed in Loughrea is twentv-four; in Kilchreest, fourteen; and in Athenry, thirty-two. The number of extra police drafted into these stations within the past month are: Loughrea, six; Kilchreest, nine; and Athenry, sixteen.
