§ MR. LAMBERT (Devonshire, South Molton)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War what will be the position of those officers and men of the Militia who do not desire to be incorporated in the short-service Army, in the event of the battalion being so incorporated.
§ MR. ARNOLD-FORSTERThe position of any officers and men who may not desire to be so incorporated will be unaltered, so far as their appointments or engagements are concerned; but I am not able at present to enter into any details in this matter.
